1601 Washington Ave is up for a community vote. NOWAC, PBCNP, and PBCDC want to make sure you have an opportunity to participate and let the ZBA know what you think!

In regards to the Community Benefits Agreement, it was NOT negotiated with NOWAC, PBCNP, and PBCDC or neighborhood residents. Due to the strong ties between OCF (developer) and SOSNA leadership (some current OCF employees), the negotiation is is problematic and a direct conflict of interest. As such, the Community Benefits Agreement document is not in good faith and should be voided because of these serious concerns. A project of this size deserves a fair and inclusive negotiation with actual community members that represent the diversity of the impacted neighborhoods.
NOTE: The ZBA makes the final decision about whether or not the variances are granted. As such, if you have a strong interest in this project, you should attend the ZBA hearing on August 20, 2025 at 2pm. Information with links to attend here. The role of an RCO is to collect community thoughts and opinions and pass them on to the ZBA.
